ABOUT THE FOUNDER
HI, I'M PAYTON.
I'm the founder of Ro & Beck Hair Care--and I've spent most of my life trying to make peace with my hair.
Growing up, I had long, thick, unruly hair that seemed to be perpetually dry, frizzy, and undefined. I spent years fighting bad hair days and wondering why every product that promised miracles somehow missed the mark. Serums, masks, oils, sprays, mousses, gels. I tried it ALL.
The problem? The products!
Nothing made my hair look good in the moment and also improved it over time. Revolutionary quick fixes are neither revolutionary nor quick when you need 12 products to achieve subpar results. Instead of feeling like Becky with the Good Hair, I was feeling overwhelmed, disappointed, and a lot more broke.
So, I decided to create what I couldn't find: simple, effective hair care made with powerhouse ingredients (and a little personality). Ro & Beck Hair Care was born of real hair struggles from a real person with the steadfast belief that great hair is a long game.
WHO ARE RO & BECK?
HI, wE'RE RO & BECK.
Ro & Beck are my two sons, Rowan & Beckett — and they’re the reason Ro & Beck Hair Care exists.
What started as a passion project became a way to show my boys that hopes and dreams don’t have to stay just that. With enough drive, creativity, and hard work, you can turn an idea into something real (cheesy, but so true).
Every time I revise a formula because it’s not quite perfect, tweak packaging because it’s not exactly how I envisioned it, or start over because I know I can do better, I think about them.
I hope they grow up knowing that the things we dream about are worth chasing — and that with a little courage and a lot of persistence, they can become real.
